Board Committees
The New Hampshire Association for Infant Mental Health has an Executive Committee and four Standing Committees. The Board prescribes the duties of all committees. Any member of the organization, in good standing, may serve on a committee. Each committee has a chair who is responsible for leading the work, reporting to the full Board and maintaining a current work plan. Development and Fundraising Committee
Purpose
The Development and Fundraising Committee coordinates activities designed to raise revenue for the organization (including memberships, sponsorships, and grants), identifies which revenue streams have been successful, and recommends additional fundraising strategies. Additionally, they look for opportunities to expand membership benefits.

Leadership and Governance Committee
Purpose
The Leadership and Governance Committee is responsible for sustaining the volunteer leadership of the board and the effective functioning of the organization by overseeing policies and procedures and overseeing the strategic planning process.

Knowledge and Education Committee
Purpose
The Knowledge and Education Committee is responsible for the professional development and advocacy activities of NHAIMH. The committee creates high-quality trainings in evidence-based practices and information about infant mental health to members and others in the community.

Public Awareness and Outreach Committee
Purpose
The Public Awareness and Outreach Committee’s activities help increase public understanding and awareness of infant mental health through social media and other information outlets. The committee fosters community collaborations through outreach activities and up-to-date resources.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Please consider becoming involved with the NHAIMH by serving on one of the Standing Committees. NHAIMH would greatly appreciate the leadership and expertise that you could bring to the work.
Committee members are asked to attend monthly meetings (call in participation is available) and be available to do tasks between meetings.
